The Parable of the Talents Matthew 25 In this parable I do not think the master is God or the servants are us. Because I do not believe in a judging, vindictive God. I have another idea. The third servant will not support the evil master any longer. The master earns his money in unjust ways, by means of bullying. He reaped where he did not sow. And the third servant was done with that way of life. So it was an act of civil disobedience. He took the money and buried it. The third servant would no longer support evil. The third servant knows that God is good and detest evil. The servant knows it is sinful to support evil, participate in evil. So he buries the treasure.
